Innovation and sustainability: managers for the future of Europe

I have always dreamed of being the leader of an international company, and Var Group is becoming precisely that. As CEO of a tech company that today has offices in 14 countries around the world, I feel I have to contribute to round tables at which institutions and managers share their ideas and needs for building a more competitive Europe which, through innovation, ensures increased productivity and growth to safeguard the welfare of future generations.

For this reason I will be participating in CEC European Managers held in collaboration with Lombardy Region and CIDA. The event aims to explore how Europe can manage its position on world markets, reconciling the energy transition with economic development. I’ll be joined by leading representatives of national institutions and companies. Each person will recount the strategies they have adopted; I will bring examples of the creativity and brilliance of Made in Italy, capable of combining sustainability and competitiveness.
In particular I’ll talk about the transformative power of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the importance of recognising that we have not yet fully exploited its potential in our companies, and about how accelerating the adoption of new technologies and AI is fundamental while also adapting organisational models and skills.
